Oil minister: OPEC deal will last for six months

, Oil Minister Thamer Ghadban on Friday that the recent agreement of theOrganization of Petroleum Exporting Countries to reduce output will continue for six months.
"The OPEC member states have agreed to reduce oil production to 1.2 million barrels, and the agreement will last for six months," Ghadhban said in a statement published by Reuters .
"We have to accept this because we are in one boat."
"US political pressure has been a dominant factor in this (OPEC) meeting and has limited the scope of Saudi measures to rebalance the market," said Gary Ross, chief executive of Black Gold Investors.
"OPEC has agreed to exempt Iran from cutting production after it has rejected any production commitments as long as it is subject to US sanctions, " a Bloomberg news agency quoted a participant as saying .
