The Basra provincial council confirmed that it will hold an emergency special session at 1 pm on Friday to choose a new governor and head of the council.
The post of governor became vacant after the victory of Governor Asaad al-Eidani membership of the House of Representatives.
Eidani refuses to hand over the post or hold a session to choose a new governor because of his "non-performance" sworn in parliament.
While the MP revealed a coalition of construction, Faleh al-Khazali, an agreement between the blocks of Sason and wisdom to distribute positions in the provinces of Baghdad and Basra at the expense of the people.
In a statement received by "Eye of Iraq News", Khazali said that "the wise and wise agreed to vote wise for the post of governor of Baghdad who are going against the position of governor for wisdom in Basra and this action is contrary to reform." He called on "the leader of the Sadrist movement Moqtada al-Sadr to intervene and end this agreement."

He called on "all the political forces and members of the Council of the Governor of Basra to give priority to national interest in favor of party interests because the victim of the people of Basra and we are still good for some of them and must disclose who passes this deal."
