Iran's oil minister: OPEC has shown the ability to reach an agreement despite differences

Iran's Oil Minister, Bijan Zengane, hailed the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for describing the Organization's ability to reach an agreement despite severe domestic political differences.
OPEC and its allies, led by Russia, agreed on Dec. 7 to cut output more than expected despite US President Donald Trump's pressure to cut crude prices.
"OPEC has shown a capacity in which members can hold talks and reach important results regarding their common interests, despite more severe political differences or even military conflicts," Zengane said in a tweet on Twitter.
