An administrative order for Basra Governor exempted the director of the Investment Authority in the province and assigned his assistant to fill the post of proxy until a new administration is formed.
The administrative order signed by Governor As'ad al-Eidani and obtained by "Economy News" a copy of it, that "for the purposes of public interest and based on the powers vested us decided to exempt the Chief Engineer Mr. Ali Jasb from his duties as Chairman of the Investment Commission of Basra," adding that " Baham Director ".
In a letter issued by the Investment Authority on the day that "based on the powers vested in us under the provisions of Article V of the Investment Law No. 139 of 2006 amended, and according to the administrative order issued by the Office of the Governor decided to be the withdrawal of Mr. Ali Jasp from his duties as of Today (17 December 2018), "explaining that" the assistant director (Engineer Alaa Abdul Hussein) started the functions of the head of the Basra Investment Commission. "
