Shafa'a News / Alliance blocs decided to reform, not to vote on the candidate of the Ministry of Education Shaima current provided by Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to win the vote in today's meeting scheduled for the Iraqi parliament.
A parliamentary source told Shafak News that it was agreed between the blocks of the Reform and Reconstruction Alliance to pass Faisal al-Jarba to the Ministry of Defense and to drop the candidate of education Shaima al-Hayali.
He added that it was also agreed to pass the candidate of the Ministry of Immigration and postpone the Interior and Justice because of lack of political consensus on them.
The Alliance of Reform is led by the coalitions of "Surun", "victory", "wisdom" and "patriotism"
On Sunday evening, Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi presented the names of two candidates to take over the ministries, requesting a postponement of the decision on a third ministry.

A document obtained by Twilight News showed a request from Abdul-Mahdi addressed to Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halboussi, in which Shaima Al-Hayali is presented as a candidate for the Ministry of Education, replacing the previous candidate, Saba Al-Taei, who was rejected in a previous parliamentary session.

The same request was also made by Nofal Baha Mousa, a candidate for the Ministry of Immigration, which has witnessed previous differences between the Christian forces.

He called on Abdul Mahdi to postpone the vote on the Minister of Justice because of the existence of negotiations in this regard, either to pass the former candidate himself, or to put forward an alternative candidate.

Last October, the Iraqi parliament gave confidence to Abdul Mahdi's cabinet with 14 ministers in his cabinet, before three ministers voted last week, leaving five ministries waiting to be granted confidence.
