The head of the Alliance for Reform and Reconstruction, Ammar al-Hakim, called on the Prime Minister, Adel [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/82334/%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D9%87%D8%AF%D9%8A]Abdul Mahdi,[/url] to stand on the demands of the province of Basra.
A statement from his office said Ammar al-Hakim renewed "during his meeting with a delegation of the popular movement in the province of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] his position supporting the popular movement in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] demanding rights and services and that the people of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] role in the selection of their governor as is their role in the selection of their representatives."

He also called on Hakim "social and political events and tribal cooperation and cooperation among them and support the peaceful popular movement."
