Moscow: Syria's return to the Arab family will contribute to the settlement of the conflict

called on the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Igor Tsarkov, on Friday, to the importance of efforts to return Syria to the Arab League as part of efforts to move the political settlement of the wheel in the country.
"Working on Syria's return to the Arab League represents an important trend within the political settlement in the country," the Russian diplomat said during a meeting of the joint Russian-Syrian coordinating committees on the return of the refugees. He said that the visit of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir to Damascus on December 16 to meet with his counterpart Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is a concrete step in this direction.
Tsarikov welcomed the Russian foreign minister's first visit to Syria since the freezing of Damascus' membership in the Arab League, adding that this visit would contribute to the resumption of full-scale relations between Syria and other Arab countries and the return of Damascus to its seat at the university soon.
The United Arab Emirates opened its embassy in Damascus on Wednesday, while Bahrain confirmed the continuation of the work of its embassy in Syria.
