The Justice Minister Abdulhamid Gul said on Sunday that his country will continue its efforts to "shed light on all details of the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and with the support of the international community."

In an interview with CNN Turk, the Turkish minister said that "investigations into Khashoggi's murder will continue and the case will be opened to the judiciary," criticizing the Saudi investigation into the case.

"God knows if anyone will be held accountable there," Gul said.

"We pledge to follow the path of the Khashoggi issue to the end, at the level of the United Nations and the international community," he said, adding that "Turkey has paid great attention to this issue and will continue to do so."
