(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The head of the central operations of the popular crowd, Tahseen al-Husseini, said Wednesday that the Iraqi-Syrian border is coherent and the popular crowd and the security forces lines of defense in depth.
"We visited with the delegation of the popular crowd the Iraqi-Syrian border in the Bagouz area in the north of the Upper Euphrates to ensure the area and the redeployment of the units present there," Husseini said in a statement to inform the crowd.
"The visit was also aimed at visiting al-Jazeera operations and boycotting al-Anbar operations in order to maintain coordination between us and the security forces," he said.
"We have begun to reconsider our plans and redistribute our pieces and look at the strengths and weaknesses of the region," he said, adding that "there is a high coordination between the popular crowd, the security forces and the region are coherent and there are defensive lines in depth."
