The parliamentary committee on Saturday announced the allocation of about [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/110283/700 %D9%85%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%B1 %D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%B1]700 billion dinars[/url] for the unemployed and social welfare within the budget law, noting that the committee seeks to add adequate compensation to those affected by terrorism and the reconstruction of liberated areas.
Committee member Haneen al-Qado said that " [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/110283/700 %D9%85%D9%84%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%B1 %D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%86%D8%A7%D8%B1]700 billion dinars[/url] for the unemployed and social welfare was allocated within the budget this year," noting that 'there are claims to allocate amounts to compensation for those affected by terrorism'.
"The deputies of Nineveh called for the return of the dismissed members of the security services in the province of Nineveh, as well as the allocation of sufficient funds for the reconstruction of liberated areas to restore services to it.
He pointed out that 'the Finance Committee insist on reducing expenses and reducing salaries to ensure that the government does not resort to external borrowing as the loans weighed on the budget', explaining that 'Iraq is obliged to pay 11 trillion Iraqi dinars as interest on loans during the budget this year'.
