    Baghdad / SNG - The Jordanian government denied that there are differences between Amman and Baghdad against the backdrop of a number of economic files.
    The Jordanian government's statement at a press conference held by the Minister of State for Information and Communication Affairs Jumana Ghneimat at the Prime Minister's office on Thursday to talk about a number of regional and local files, and said that some reports that there is a "crisis" between Amman and Baghdad " .


    She added: "It was said that there is a Jordanian-Iraqi crisis related to the financial file, on the contrary there are no crises, relations between Amman and Baghdad are excellent and at their best, and the last visit to Baghdad was a genuine desire of the two sides to strengthen relations .. On the table".
    She noted that the visit of Jordanian Prime Minister Omar al-Razzaz and the accompanying team on 28 December, has witnessed a long meeting, the first of its kind took about 4 hours.
    Ghoneim revealed that the two sides agreed to determine the second of next February, a date for the announcement of solutions or steps or perceptions of some outstanding issues; including the financial file, noting that it was agreed to form a technical technical financial committee for that.
    The Finance Ministry of Jordan, announced Wednesday, 9 January 2019, on Iraq's demand for debts amounting to more than one billion dollars, while demanded the Finance Committee of the Iraqi parliament Jordan frozen assets in Amman.
    It is noteworthy that Iraq has wide relations with Jordan in various fields, where it is linked through the port of Trebil border, which is the economic and commercial artery between the two countries, while the Jordanian government is considering the establishment of a new border center with Iraq, as an alternative to the center of dignity in the province of Mafraq in the north-east of the country.
