MP on the National Axis bloc Muqamam Jumaili, Saturday, continued differences over the candidate to take over the Interior Ministry in the government of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi , between Salim Jubouri and Judge Rizkar Mohammed Amin are closest to the Ministry of Defense and Justice, respectively.

Jumaili said in an interview for Alsumaria News, "The National Axis has submitted the names of several candidates for a while to the Prime Minister to fill the portfolio of the Ministry of Defense," noting that "Salim al-Jubouri is still the closest and favorite to fill the position."
He added that "the submission of names to parliament is still not set date until the moment waiting for the resolution of the candidates of the other ministries, especially the Ministry of Interior as a result of the insistence of each party on its position and there are ongoing and intensive dialogues to resolve the candidate," noting that "the Ministry of Justice became almost settled after the consensus of the Kurdish forces to Judge Rizkar Mohammed Amin as a candidate to fill the bag. "

The House of Representatives voted in its session held on Monday, December 24, 2018 to pass the candidates of the Ministries of Immigration and Education in the fall of the candidate of the Ministry of Defense Faisal Fanar Jarba and the candidates were not offered the Ministries of Interior and Justice for the lack of quorum to vote after the withdrawal of deputies of the bloc reform and reconstruction.
