    A legal expert revealed on Monday a constitutional violation of parliamentarians carried by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbusi.

    "Article 49 of the Constitution says paragraph 6 states that it is not permissible to combine the membership of the House of Representatives with any other work or position," said legal expert Ali al-Tamimi.

    "This means that the MP is not a property of himself. He is not an ordinary citizen. He represents 100,000 citizens. For this reason, no deputy is entitled to work, neither in the public sector nor in the private sector."

    Tamimi said that "in case of violation of any of the deputy, the House of Representatives refers the deputy to the Disciplinary Committee to take legal sanctions in accordance with the rules of procedure of the Parliament, and this breach also borne by Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbusi, so the two must be referred to a disciplinary committee.
