Shafaq News / The Cabinet issued several decisions in its regular session held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister D Adel Abdul Mahdi.

During the meeting, Abdul Mahdi explained the visits of officials from around the world to Iraq and the political movement witnessed by Baghdad during the past few days.

Abdul-Mahdi briefed the Cabinet on a report by the Financial Control Bureau on the differences in the pensions of the presidents of the republic and the members of the Governing Council, the House of Representatives and the ministers, and the lifting of the secrecy in order to emphasize the principle of transparency and the payment of officials from the sums of money and audit the report.

 The Prime Minister directed the follow-up of the implementation of the ministries for their tasks within the ministerial platform and to give this matter very important.

The Council of Ministers decided to return the Independent High Electoral Commission to carry out its work.

The Council approved the customs duties at all border ports and facilitate the smooth flow of goods into all governorates.

The Council of Ministers decided to transfer all wage earners to contracts and adapt the conditions of contractors to equalize with employees on permanent owners in terms of obtaining plots of land, advances, allowances and vacations and giving them the priority to fix when vacancy, And to increase the minimum wage, calculate the previous period of work and the absence of work, and other privileges guaranteed by this resolution, which amends this segment.

The Council approved the recommendations of the Diwan Commission 45 for the year 2018 on the project to establish public hospitals capacity of 400 beds in the province of Basra, Dhi Qar, Maysan and Karbala holy and Babylon and Najaf, implemented by the Turkish and German companies.

It was also approved to exclude contracts for the processing of medicines and medical devices and supplies for 6 months of the instructions for the implementation of government contracts and controls and instructions for the implementation of the general budget.

The Council of Ministers approved the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Energy Affairs on the type G cement for the designation of oil wells.

The Council decided to reconsider the decision of the Council of Ministers to consider the Department of Foreign Relations and Information in the Ministry of Communications below the level of a circle and make it a public directorate.

The draft amendment to the System of Care for Victims of Human Trafficking No. 7 of 2017 was approved.

 The Council also approved the draft law on Iraq's accession to the International Convention on Search and Rescue of 1979 for the regulation of maritime navigation.

The Council of Ministers approved the amendment of the Council of Ministers Resolution 126 of 2014 on the draft air transport agreement between Iraq and Poland.

The Council decided to allocate amounts of air transit revenue for the purpose of contracting with the International Federation to bring eight experts in the disciplines of air transport.
