The Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif announced his country's readiness to cooperate in the nuclear field with Iraq within the framework of international standards of control and obedience.
"Our relationship with Iraq, like all other countries, is not artificial, and we and Iraq have relations before the United States, and we will continue those relations," Zarif told a news conference in Najaf after a meeting with Iraqi businessmen.
"We are brothers, our relationship is not arrogant, this is the longest trip I have ever made to a country in the world, and this is a sign of interest and special relations between the two governments and the two countries."
"The relations between Tehran and Baghdad have a very bright and wonderful horizon, and the two countries need more economic development than ever, and they must work together to improve their livelihoods," he said.
