Al-Rafidain Operations Command announced that the province [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/644/%D8%B0%D9%8A %D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1]of Dhi Qar[/url]recorded a significant decrease in the phenomenon of "clan dynasty" following the decision of the latter court as part of the anti-terrorism law.
The commander of operations Rafidain Major General Ali Ibrahim Debaun in a press statement: "The activation of the law (clan) has had good reactions in the security situation in all provinces, including Dhi Qar."
He added: "The security situation witnessed between December and January, a significant decrease in this phenomenon, especially after the issuance of a law by the judiciary dealing with this phenomenon in particular in accordance with the articles of the anti-terrorism law."
"Since the activation of the law in December, 13 people have been arrested on this charge in Dhi Qar, and in January there was a significant decrease, with one or two cases recorded and the perpetrators arrested," Daboun said.
The clan is represented by firing houses or threatening words on its walls to intimidate its inhabitants and force them to leave.
