A member of the Committee of Strategic Planning and Follow-up Parliamentary Raed Fahmi, Tuesday, the performance of the parliament in the current legislative term is disappointing because it does not approve any law, indicating that the government has only submitted the draft budget to parliament.
"The performance of the House of Representatives in the current legislative term is disappointing and does not meet the size of the popular aspirations because of its inability to pass any law until now," Fahmi said in a statement.
He added that "the government bears part of the parliamentary failure that the legislation proposed by the Council of Ministers while the government has submitted only the draft budget."
Fahmy pointed out that "the House of Representatives is busy completing the cabinet cabin and amend its rules of procedure and will begin to pass laws and the performance of its oversight role during the next legislative term." Ending / 25 d
