Parliamentary finance reveals the mechanism to pay the debts of the oil-producing provinces

The parliamentary finance committee confirmed on Wednesday that the oil-producing provinces, which have dues from the revenues of the border crossings, will receive their dues during the first quarter of each year.
The committee member Thamer Ghadhban said in a statement to the information that "there is a tendency to the Finance Committee to pay the debts of the provinces that have dues with the government for years."
"Ghadban said that" oil-producing provinces will receive their allocations in addition to the grant of dues from the border crossings, and according to what is defined by the law of those provinces. "
He explained that "the Ministry of Finance will be obliged during the first quarter of each year to deliver petrodollars and border crossings to the provinces, where the mechanism was adopted to ensure that the provinces to get their dues early." Ending / 25 n
