The United States announced on Thursday the addition of four new Iranian entities to the list of sanctions imposed on Tehran.
The US Treasury Department said the new Iranian targets targeted were linked to the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guards and the Mahan Air Company.

The ministry said in a statement posted on its website that it had imposed sanctions on the Fatimiyeh Brigade, Armenia-based Flyt Travel, Iranian-based Iran Air Force Qeshm Air Fares and the Zainabion Brigade.
The US Treasury's inclusion of individuals and entities on the sanctions list effectively isolates them from the global financial system, freezing assets under US jurisdiction, and warning non-US institutions to deal with them.
Last year, the administration of US President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal with Tehran and re-imposed economic sanctions.
In August and November, Washington imposed two severe sanctions on Iran, targeting oil, aviation, industry and banking.
