Secretary Abdul Mahdi: We will raise the concrete blocks surrounding all the churches in Baghdad

The Office of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, on Monday, the lifting of the concrete blocks surrounding the Church of St. Korkis in the area of Salhiya.
The Secretary of the Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Mohammed Hamid al-Bayati said in a statement that it was today "lifting the concrete blocks surrounding the Church of St. Korcis in the area of Salhiya, and we will lift all the concrete blocks surrounding all the churches in Baghdad."
"There are no obstacles for Christians to go to church, security measures are tight, and this is a testament to the level of freedom Iraqis enjoy regardless of their religion," al-Bayati said.
