Iraq's civil aviation authority signed an executive memorandum with its Jordanian counterpart in the capital Amman on Tuesday aimed at coordinating joint action between the two countries.
"We look forward to further cooperation and coordination in several areas, including civil aviation and air operations between Iraq and Jordan," said Ali Khalil Ibrahim, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority.
He added that "the executive memorandum with the Jordanian side included the exchange of experiences and capabilities and the benefit of the possibilities available in consolidating the strong working relationship in terms of increasing the number of flights and technical areas and safety of aviation and air operations and safety of airports and standards of air navigation and legislation on civil aviation."
The ongoing work of the Iraqi civil aviation authority with the various countries of the world comes within the direction of the Iraqi government to strengthen the frameworks of work and cooperation with regard to the expansion of the services provided in the service of travel and passengers between international airports.
