"Ministers" agrees to form a committee to investigate the damage caused by avian influenza
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Cabinet announced on Sunday its approval of the formation of a committee to scrutinize statements submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture on compensation for damages caused by bird flu.
"The Council of Ministers approved the formation of a committee headed by a representative of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau and the membership of representatives of the ministries of (health, agriculture) and the province of Baghdad, the audit of the statements submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture and the procedures used to compensate for the damage caused by bird flu.
"The council confirmed that the committee will complete its work within a maximum period of 30 days from the date of its formation," he added.
He explained that 'the Council of Ministers also decided to return government vehicles allocated for the temporary use of parties and personalities to the official authorities the owner within a period of not more than three months from the date of issuance of the decision, otherwise the legal departments take appropriate action against violators'.
