    called on the MP for the coalition of reform Ali al - Badri, Monday, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to summon the US ambassador to Baghdad , "Matthew Tauler" and handed over a protest note on recent statements by US President Trump , the survival of US combat troops in the country to monitor Iran. 
    Al-Badairi said in a statement to Al-Mawdara that "Trump's recent statements that the US combat forces remain in the country to monitor Iran need to deal with them diplomatically and submit a complaint to the United Nations because the American side is a transgressor of Iraq's sovereignty."     province council on Monday described President Donald Trump's recent remarks on Iran and the Middle East as "provocative" and a flagrant violation of Iraq's sovereignty. 
    "Trump's recent statements about Iran's surveillance and spying from inside Iraqi territory are a provocative process that transcends Iraq's sovereignty and Trump must consider respect for the sovereignty of Iraq and its people before launching its provocative statements," council member Farhan Mohammad al-Dulaimi told IRIN. 
    "These statements are considered an infringement on the sovereignty of the country, regardless of the existence of strategic agreements on the presence of US forces in Iraq because such permits make Trump the nuisance and the command in Iraq."
    He explained that "such statements and interference in the affairs of neighboring countries should be in agreement with the central government because we want to live in peace and we do not accept to interfere in the affairs of any neighboring country and do not enter into conflicts and sectarian strife with neighboring countries." 
    "America has an incredible and expensive military base built in Iraq, and it is in a very perfect place to look at all of us," Trump said on Sunday in an interview with CBS Nation's "Face of the Nation" program. Across the troubled Middle East instead of withdrawing from Iraq, "noting that US forces would monitor Iran from this base.
    President Barham Saleh said on Monday that US President Donald Trump had not asked permission from Iraq for the US military presence to monitor Iran, stressing Iraq's refusal to use its territory as a base for attacks on other countries. The first deputy speaker of parliament Hassan al-Kaabi said on Sunday that the House of Representatives will work during the next legislative term to enact a law that includes the termination of the security agreement with America, as well as the termination of the presence of American and foreign military trainers and advisers.
