Agriculture Inspectorate: Stop wasting public money and recover 21 billion dinars

The Inspector-General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Lamia Daoud Kazem, announced on Saturday the cessation of waste of public money and the recovery of more than 21 billion dinars in 2018.
Kazem said in a statement received by Alsumaria News a copy of it, "the results of the audit and audit in its office for the year 2018 resulted in stopping the waste of public money and the recovery of the amount of (21,581,229,604) twenty-one billion five hundred and one hundred and eighty million two hundred and twenty-nine thousand six hundred and four dinars. "
The statement pointed out that "the results of the audit and proactive control of contracts and tenders concluded by the Ministry for the year 2018 resulted in the cessation of waste with public money in the amount of more than (6,200,027,000) six billion and two hundred million and seven thousand dinars and the suspension of such contracts on the recommendations of the Office.
He added that "the administrative investigations conducted by the investigative teams in the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Agriculture resulted in the recommendation to recover the amount of (2,971,346,438) two billion nine hundred and seventy-one million and three hundred and forty-six thousand and thirty dinars and return these amounts to the Treasury."
He pointed out that "the results of the follow-up acquisition of leasehold land for agricultural land throughout Iraq For the year 2018, as well as the decisions of the inclusion committees led to the receipt of the amount of (12,409,856,166) twelve billion four hundred and nine million eight hundred and fifty-six thousand and one hundred and sixty-six dinars.
