    The Commission on Health and Environment in Parliament, on Thursday, they will question the Minister of Health , Ala Alwan and Undersecretary during the second legislative term for the failure toprovide for patients with thalassemia and diseases of cancer drugs, as indicated that the work of the Minister of Health is unsatisfactory and will be the House of Representatives position last of it. 
    "The Ministry of Health has informed us that life-saving medicines related to thalassemia and cancer diseases will reach the hospitals of the country within six months, and these are unconvincing arguments to the House of Representatives," said member of the committee, Abd Aoun Allawi. All powers in contracting directly with pharmaceutical companies to solve the crisis of interruption for more than a year and a half, as well as the allocation of funds to buy those drugs.
    He added that "the parliamentary health committee will question the Minister of Health Alaa Alwan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry and the head of the company Kimadia, which is competent to bring medicines to the ministry." 
    "The Ministry of Health is obliged to provide lifesaving medicines as soon as possible," he said. "There are companies that manufacture these drugs, which are able to provide them in the shortest time for the Iraqi government." 
    Last week, the health committee of the parliament confirmed that it had given Health Minister Alaa Alwan seven days to prepare all drugs for Thalassemia patients and cancer, and threatened to dismiss Elwan. 
    The agency "Information" news has adopted the opening of the shortage and lack of medicines for patients with thalassemia in all hospitals in the country for a year and a half with the competent government bodies, including the Parliamentary Health Committee.
