Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif , the failure of two attempts to launch an Iranian satellite during the past two months, pointing to the possibility of Washington involvement in it.

Referring to a recent report by The New York Times that the United States has intensified its covert efforts to sabotage the Iranian missile project, and that these efforts may be the reason for the failure of attempts to launch Iran's satellites, Zarif said, "This is very likely, we do not know yet , And we consider this very carefully. "

He said in an interview with NBC on Friday that Iran had opened an investigation into these failures, but is now "looking into the details" after the issuance of the report, which was not confirmed by the US authorities, but did not escape also.

The United States has demanded Tehran stop its missile program and abide by the UN Security Council resolution , which recommends that Iran refrain from missile tests.

Washington is concerned about the possibility that Iran will use ballistic technology to launch missile warheads, and not just to launch satellites.

Tehran rejects US accusations and says its attempts to launch artificial satellites and missile tests do not violate the UN resolution, and that the resolution is a recommendation, not a binding one.
