The US embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday issued a clarification on US President Donald Trump's intention to go to war with Iran.
The US embassy in Baghdad denied the US intention to use Iraqi airspace or territory to attack any place or country.
This came during an interview with the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy, Joe Hood, to a number of media, explaining that "President Trump's remarks earlier said he did not want the US forces to undertake wars we do not need them," stressing that "Trump does not want war With Iran at all. "
"The US forces will not use the Iraqi airspace or territory to attack any place or any state," adding that "President Trump does not propose any changes or amendments to the strategic agreement between Iraq and the United States."
