Iran's nuclear forces have threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz; if Iran's oil exports are reduced to zero, it will reaffirm its ownership of the three UAE islands in the Arabian Gulf; Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa, Bahrain was also considered part of Iran.
"As long as our oil comes out of the Strait of Hormuz and our tankers are not subjected to harassment, it will not happen," Admiral Tenkiri said in an interview with Iran's Al-Alam television on Monday.
"They want to stop exporting our oil and to prevent our ships, that is the logic of this, if they want to see then, will this happen or not?"
In November, the United States began implementing its second package of economic sanctions on Iran, including the energy, finance and shipping sectors.
Iran is the third largest producer of crude oil in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), after Saudi Arabia and Iraq, 3.45 million barrels per day, and exports at two million barrels per day.
"You know very well that these islands are Iranian, as you know that if we go back in history, we would find that Bahrain was part of Iran until 1971," he said.
"Bahrain, which has a long history, was part of Iran, especially since the distance of these islands is only 16 miles from our coast," he said, "but our enemies aim to provoke these issues. And spread it. "
The UAE affirms the return of these islands to the islands and demands their return, and says that Tehran laid its hands on these islands during the British mandate period.
The Iranian military commander said: "If we go back to history, we find that these islands are Iranian, and will remain Iranian, and must remain Iranian forever. As we say we do not demand the land of Bahrain, and no one should demand the Iranian islands."
In a related context, Admiral Tenxiri stressed that what is reviewed in the maneuvers of the Iranian Navy in the Gulf, near the Strait of Hormuz, constitutes a very small part of the capabilities of the country.
"We in the naval force of the Revolutionary Guard believe that everything must be kept secret, to be revealed slowly and gradually, and what is presented in the exercises constitutes a very small part of our main capabilities that they will see when they receive a strong blow," he said in the interview.
