Japan's imports of oil fell 5% in January

Japan's crude oil imports fell 5 percent in January from a year earlier to 3.25 million bpd, the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said on Thursday.
Domestic oil sales in Japan fell 4 percent year on year to 3.13 million bpd, data showed.
Gasoline sales fell 2.9 percent to 793,959 barrels a day, and kerosene sales fell 6.5 percent from a year ago to 532,383 barrels a day, according to figures.
