    Iraq and Jordan on Thursday signed an agreement on land transport for passengers and goods to develop prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
    The agreement was signed in Amman, Jordan.
    The Ministry of Transport said in a statement received by the "Economy News", "Based on the distinguished relations between Iraq and Jordan and their desire to promote and develop prospects for cooperation in fields that serve the international road transport for passengers and goods for the benefit of the two countries and two peoples, And in the presence of the Minister of Transport Eng. Abdullah Loibi signed the agreement on land transport for passengers and goods between the governments of Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. 
    "What happened is the outcome of joint action between the two sides to strengthen the trade movement," he said, adding that "great facilities will be provided to boost the national economy of the two brotherly countries."
    He expressed his "great happiness to reach this agreement, which promotes cooperation in areas of mutual interest, especially those relating to economic and trade aspects and activating coordination on them to push them to a wider horizons to serve the interests of the two countries and two brotherly peoples."
