Civil Status: The Nationality Law came to grant 3 million Iranians of Iraqi nationality

The Directorate [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/45358/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%AD%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%AF%D9%86%D9%8A%D8%A9]of Civil Status,[/url] Passports and Residence at the Ministry of the Interior issued a clarification on some of the legal provisions concerning the granting of Iraqi nationality.
The Directorate stated in its clarification that "the Iraqi Nationality Law No. (26) for the year 2006 is still in effect, since those who wish to be naturalized unmarried are required to reside for ten consecutive years in accordance with paragraph (c) of Article (6 / I) of the above law."
