    Baghdad - Nas
Israeli warplanes bombed dozens of positions in the Gaza Strip on Friday night, hours after two rockets fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel.
In a raid on the southern town of Rafah, a pregnant woman and her husband were wounded, Palestinian media reported. Medical sources said the woman was in critical condition.
The Israeli bombardment targeted six buildings used by Hamas security forces, which were evacuated as a precautionary measure, while powerful explosions rocked buildings in Gaza.
Sirens were sounded in Israel, particularly in Tel Aviv, because of what the IDF described as "longer range rockets" fired from Gaza. The rockets did not cause any casualties.
Explosions were fired from the missile defense system and exploded, although the army said no rockets had been dropped.
Hamas denied responsibility for the rockets fired at Israel, saying that "the attack occurred while holding talks with Egyptian mediators on a long-term truce with Israel." The Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees also denied firing any rockets.
"The air strikes targeted about 100 sites in the Gaza Strip, including the new port in Khan Younis and the Executive Office of the prisoners," said IDF spokesman Avihai Adre'i.
