    CAIRO - Egypt is ready to transfer its experience in developing infrastructure to its sister country, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi .
    Al-Sisi said during a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, who is visiting Cairo on Saturday, that the Egyptian experience will contribute to the reconstruction of the areas affected in Iraq, according to the presidential statement .

    As Sisi hinted during the talks with Abdul Mahdi in the Federal Palace, the readiness to hold programs and training courses for Iraqi cadres in various fields according to his needs.
    During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing cooperation in the field of security and combating terrorism, especially in order to prevent the risk of terrorist elements moving from foreign fighters to other regions in the countries of the region.
    It was also agreed on the speed of completion of preparations for the first meeting of the Joint High Committee headed by the Prime Ministers of the two countries soon, thus contributing to the promotion of joint cooperation between the two sides .

    Ambassador Bassam Radi, spokesman for the presidency, said that a bilateral meeting was held, followed by an extended session, which included the delegations of the two countries.
    Abdul Mahdi pointed to his country's keenness to push forward relations between Egypt and Iraq in various fields and to strengthen and intensify cooperation and coordination at all levels to achieve the common interests of the two countries .
    The Spokesman stated that Sisi affirmed Egypt's steadfast stance on Iraq and supported its unity, stability, territorial integrity and non-interference in its internal affairs. He also congratulated the victories achieved by the Iraqi leadership and army to expel terrorist organizations from Iraqi territory .

    On the bilateral relations between the two countries, they discussed means of enhancing mutual cooperation, particularly in the economic and trade fields, and investing in the possibilities available to both countries in this regard. It also discussed cooperation with other Arab countries, especially in the light of the tripartite summit scheduled for tomorrow in Cairo. King Abdullah II of Jordan .
