The Iranian foreign ministry considered that, despite a few exceptions, the "orientation and atmosphere" of the recent Arab summit held in Tunisia was more positive than its previous meetings.
Commenting on the final statement of the Arab summit in Tunisia, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasimi confirmed that Iran is closely monitoring all developments at the summit, "because we live alongside many of the members of this association in a hot region of the world and we have common borders with And as one Islamic nation we have shared concerns and interests in many issues of the Muslim world. "
He attributed the Iranian spokesman to the "hosting and wise and constructive management of this meeting by Tunisian officials."He continued that "despite the words of a few members of the Arab League, which unfortunately showed a futile insistence on their non-constructive and incorrect approach to the hostility against Iran and gave them unfounded accusations, Iran assess the orientation and atmosphere of the recent Arab summit, That it was more positive compared to previous meetings. "
During the 30th session of the Arab summit held in Tunis on Sunday, Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz accused Iran of pursuing "aggressive policies" that violate international treaties. Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Abul Gheit said that "interventions from Iran and Turkey" .
