The Cabinet held its ordinary session on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, where the Council decided to amend the instructions to implement the work in the manner of implementation Secretariat No. (1) for the year 2018.
The Board also approved the controls of secondment of the employee to work in the private sector.
The Cabinet voted to re-introduce the issue of investment in the port of Faw to the Council of Ministers again.
The Council of Ministers approved the opening of a Philippine consulate to Iraq in the province of Arbil and the opening of a consulate general to Iraq in the province of Najaf in exchange for the opening of an Iraqi Consulate in Dammam Saudi Arabia, the Consulate General of the Republic of Iraq in Toronto, Canada, and the establishment of the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission to Iraq (UNAMI) In the province of Nineveh.
The Board approved the recommendation of the Supreme Committee for the reform of the ration card system for the wounded and disabled people, and those who retire for health reasons.
The session witnessed the vote on improving the business environment and investment on the following:
Mechanism of granting entry features to investors and foreign workers in investment projects / mechanism of registration of companies and the start of business activity / one window in investment bodies / land and infrastructure.
The Council of Ministers also approved the recommendations of the Committee formed pursuant to the Council of Ministers Decision No. (23) of 2019 on auditing the statements submitted by the Ministry of Agriculture and the procedures used to compensate for the damage caused by bird flu.
