    [rtl]BAGHDAD, Iraq -[/rtl]
[rtl]In a press statement, the former Minister of Water Resources Muhsin al-Shammari said that the mafias in Iraq are still dominant and stronger than governments and controlling their decisions. Al-Shammari pointed out today that the lack of supervision and mismanagement are a key factor in the Iraqi government, calling on Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to quickly address the negative phenomena and the need to select competencies from the electronic window as promised. He stressed that the current political system is uttering its last breath. The survival of the mafias with the same strength so far and the weakness of governments naturally lead to an imminent collapse of the political system as a result of its complete separation from the people's issues. This will lead to chaos in the end for the absence of the alternative and the continuation of the "quasi-politicians" Managing the political equation with their deceptive slogans, he said.[/rtl]
