Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi chaired the meeting of the Higher Steering Committee for the project of economic empowerment of women. During the meeting, Al-Dulaimi outlined the ministry's plans to form a higher council for women to follow up on issues related to the central government, local governments and the international community, to achieve effective development outcomes in support of Iraqi [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in all vital fields.
The minister stressed the importance of increasing the centers of development and support of women and qualifying them to enter effectively in the fields of work through providing the necessary economic support.
