The average price of Dubai crude on the Standard & Poor's Global Plats pricing platform rose in April to $ 70.95 a barrel, its highest level in six months, traders said on Thursday.
Following are the average prices of Dubai and Oman crude oil and the average for both of them at $ 1 per barrel. Middle East crude producers use these prices to set official selling prices for their ore every month.
    On the Dubai Mercantile Exchange
Saudi Aramco has revised its pricing reference to set official selling prices for its crude to Asia from October. The benchmark price is the average price offered for Dubai crude on the Platts platform and Omani crude futures on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange.
The average reference price for official Saudi crude oil prices for Asia was set at April 71 at $ 71.05 a barrel, partly based on the average price of $ 71.15 per barrel of Omani crude in the June contracts on the Dubai Mercantile Exchange.
