Defense spending in Asia and the Pacific this year will amount to $ 515 billion

The Director of Experia Events Company Singapore Luck L Chat, that the defense expenditures of thecountries of Asia and the Pacific, will arrive this year to $ 515 billion.
"This figure is lower than the North American index, but more than in Europe," he told a news conference ahead of the IMDEX Asia 2019 International Conference and Exhibition on Maritime Equipment and Weapons, which opens on May 14 in Singapore.
"Ten years later, defense spending in the Asia-Pacific region will be the largest in the world," he said.
He pointed out that the expenses of the countries of the region on the needs of the Navy, will grow next year, by 60% to $ 107 billion.
"The growth of defense spending is largely due to the development and introduction of new technologies and technologies," said the company's president, who oversees IMDEX Asia 2019.
