A media delegation from Anbar province visits the site of Arar Iraqi border project with the Kingdom

On the directives of the governor of Anbar, Ali Farhan visited a media delegation from Anbar province headed by Mr. Dhari Al-Arasan, Advisor to the Governor for Media Affairs and Public Relations, accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Hamoud, Media Director of the Iraqi Arar Port Complex in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to the specifications of the modern border ports are built on the agreement between the Iraqi government and Saudi Arabia in order to prepare for the opening of this important crossing and activate the movement of passengers and goods and activate the movement of trade exchange between the two sides Since the mainland had been closed years ago in front of all kinds of transportation except for the movement of convoys crossing the Iraqi pilgrims passing through it to perform the Hajj.
During the visit, the delegation met with members of the Local Council, Ayad Sami Mehdi, head of the supervision and follow-up team in Anbar province, Brig. Majid Saleh Jassim, Director of the Arar port and the project manager of the executing company. The project is implemented according to its specialization, and it is hoped that all works will be completed during the tenth year of the current year. 
Observers believe that the movement of transport and exchange will benefit the two countries in view of the volume of agreements signed recently between Iraq and Saudi Arabia in light of the visit of delegations of mutual and high level on both sides.
It is worth mentioning that the governor of Anbar visited this port with Dr. Kazem, director of the Iraqi border crossings earlier, and met with officials of the Saudi side to coordinate efforts in preparation for the opening of this crossing, which is one of the border crossings linking Iraq to neighboring countries through Anbar province bordering Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria. 
For the purpose of introducing the site and its work, Mr. Eyad, head of the supervision team, gave us the specifications of the project: 
- The total area of ​​the complex is 547 dunums. 
- The length of the outer fence of the port (5) km. 
- The length of the port (2) km. 
The complex consists of (8) main buildings, one of which consists of a bunk and a two-storey section, with a number of cabins (13) and number of moles (6). 
- There is a water desalination station. 
- There is a power station (1) mica, and (2) half a mica station.
- There are tracks for passenger cars, vip track line with their own parking spaces and isolated from the commercial shipping line, and parking lots. 
- The electricity is very modern in high pressure and low pressure networks and lines of lighting and lighting 
and operates LEED system, and the port contains (246) lighting column length (12) meters be a projector (1), and contains (125) Meters and contains (6) per column. All these works are designed with very high specifications. 
This work is carried out by one of the distinguished companies within the MASCO group of companies. There are distinguished consulting companies supervising the work to implement it in accordance with high technical and engineering specifications.
