Electoral Commission: Basra completed 66% of the biometric registration

The director of the Office of the Basra Elections Commission Ahmed Obeidi, on Thursday, the rate of registration of biometric to 66% in the entire province of Basra, among the remaining 600 thousand voters have not recorded their data so far.
"The Electoral Commission is still continuing to complete registration of voter data in the province of Basra and all its branches," Obeidi said in a statement to "Information" that "the percentage of biometric registration reached 66% throughout Basra."
He added that "the number of voters in Basra, one million and 246 thousand voters, most of them were taken data for the purpose of updating records," noting that "the remaining 600 thousand have not recorded their data so far."
