The Washington Post reported that Qods Force Commander Qassim Soleimani had made important contacts with Asaib Ahl al-Haq in Iraq and Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
Sulaimani, who emerged from an emergency session of the Supreme National Security Council in August 2018, discussed how to respond to the drop in oil sales, due to US sanctions, and began to make a number of important contacts.
The newspaper added that the first contact was with the leaders of "Asaib Ahl al-Haq" and "Hezbollah Brigades" in Iraq, saying to them: "Brothers, you have permission from me, follow the right track now!", According to the "Washington Post" , Which indicated in the same context that these Iranian fighters in Iraq (Asaib Ahl al-Haq and the Hezbollah Brigades) have been seeking, since a defeat, to remove some 5,000 US troops in Iraq.
Suleiman's second contact was Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. "The American-Zionist alliance is building a conspiracy and there is a storm coming," he told him.
The Washington Post reported that "one week after these calls, an American convoy was heading from the fortified Green Zone to Baghdad airport to blow up, was killed at the time a senior political official at the State Department and three diplomats and a US military officer.
After the attack, an attack took place in Baghdad and another east of Syria, killing two Americans, and then attacks on ships and an electronic attack on Saudi Aramco led to a week-long suspension.
"The United States and Iran may escalate into war, even though they have declared their unwillingness to do so. History is full of misguided accounts, hidden agendas and incidents of armed conflict that no one wanted. The war between Washington and Tehran.
