    Independent / follow-up / - The White House confirmed that President Barack Obama will visit Saudi Arabia on Friday for talks with King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi officials, related to the Iranian nuclear issue, and the Palestinian issue, and the war in Syria.
    The spokeswoman for the U.S. National Security Council Bernadette Meehan, President Obama will brief the Saudi monarch on the latest developments in the major six-nation talks with Iran on Tehran's nuclear program. This group includes: the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China as well as Germany.
    Meehan added that Obama will emphasize to Saudi officials and Washington continue their efforts in the face of "Iranian support for terrorism", and that "the care of the Iranian government's actions illegal (in the area) is unacceptable for the international community."
    She explained that Obama's visit comes in the context of the assertion that "Iran is an important part of our agenda with our partners in the Gulf," said: "We are seeking a diplomatic solution to the nuclear issue, but our commitment to the security of our partners in the Gulf remains steady."
