In the framework of the Yemeni government's efforts to counter the looting of the Huthi militias for relief assistance provided by international bodies and friendly countries, the government of President Abderbo Mansour Hadi proposed mechanisms for the distribution of relief in Yemen.
The Yemeni government will not accept the continued violations of the Houthi militias and the survival of the Yemeni people in the liberated areas and governorates, the minister of local administration in the Yemeni government said.
Fatah said in an official statement that the directives of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi «requires the need to deliver assistance to all the people of Yemen without exception, including the un-liberated provinces, based on the keenness of the legitimate government to its children in all provinces». The Yemeni minister explained that the government has submitted to the international organizations and donors a number of mechanisms and solutions to avoid any violations of the right of relief operations by the coup, and to expedite the delivery of relief aid with a standard stop and at the lowest costs.
"These mechanisms and solutions have been approved by a number of donors and implemented by some UN organizations through the decentralization of relief work, the use of ports and airports in the liberated governorates to receive and receive relief aid, the transfer of all the offices of the main organizations to the temporary capital of Aden, The relief of the Central Bank in the interim capital Aden, and the transition to the second phase of the relief work through the implementation of local projects aimed at achieving sustainable local development and promote stability in the Yemeni provinces ».
Fatah considered that the threat of UN organizations to suspend aid in the event of continued Houthi violations against the relief operation is not a solution. He said that "the direct victim of the suspension of aid is the Yemeni people in the unregistered areas and governorates." He stressed the importance of applying mechanisms and means provided by the government to stop looting and By militias.
The Minister of Local Administration in the Yemeni government renewed his demand for UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Mark Lokoc and the international community to take a unified position and firm measures towards the continuation of the Huthi militias to disrupt the work of relief organizations and the looting and detention of aid. Mechanisms and means by which to stop the looting and the continued detention by the coup militias.
Fatah expressed deep regret over what it described as "international and international disillusionment" over the continuation of the terrorist attacks by the coup militias against the relief operation.
