The President of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, said that the option of questioning President Donald Trump as a prelude to his isolation is still on the table, but resorting to it requires that the case be "compelling" before it is addressed by deputies.

Earlier, Pelosi expressed her disappointment over the position of Robert Mueller, the special investigator in the alleged Russian intervention in the 2016 presidential election, and considered that the results of the Muller investigation indicate that the Justice Department put Trump above the law.
