MP Mohammed al-Baldawi said on Sunday that the parliament, especially the parliamentary security and defense committee, would have a position on the changes in the base of al-Assad west of Anbar, pointing out that the information on the expansion of this rule should be subject to scrutiny by the concerned authorities to determine the purpose behind it .
"The presidency of the republic, the government and the parliament have openly declared their rejection of the US aggression on neighboring countries by using Iraqi territory as a base for the implementation of military operations," Baldawi said in a statement.
He added that "information on the expansion of the base of Al-Assad by the American side and the establishment of the Patriot system in this rule must be subject to investigation by the competent authorities to know the purpose of this, and not to allow the use of this base to attack neighboring countries."
"The parliament, especially the parliamentary security and defense committee, will have a position on information about the changes in the base of al-Assad, especially since parliament has rejected the presence [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in the country," Baldawi said. Ending / 25 n
