The Border Crossings Authority ( BPA) announced on Monday that it had sent a shipment to the Jordanian side loaded with "62-ton-engine oil of Saudi origin" at the border port of Trebil because there was no import leave.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the agency said that "the SCTA detachments were able to return the shipment to the Jordanian side loaded with the substance" engine oil of 62 tons of Saudi origin "at the port of Trebil border, because there is no import license.
"These measures have resulted in thwarting many smuggling attempts in all its forms and reducing the violation of the national security of the country through the performance of the professional duty in all professional and the imposition of customs authority at all border crossings," she said.
