A member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, Bader al-Ziadi, said that the fires occurred in most of the provinces and an investigation was opened by those behind them. He pointed out that Kirkuk is one of the provinces affected by the fires, but that does not mean the return of the Peshmerga to its territory.
Al-Ziadi said in a statement on Tuesday that there are those who seek to prove that the security forces and the popular crowd are unable to protect Kirkuk through the fabrication of fires and explosions, with the aim of returning Peshmerga to the province.
