Oil prices are falling sharply and Brent is below $ 62 a barrel
Oil prices fell about 2% on Wednesday (June 12th), weighed down by weaker demand for oil and higher US crude stocks, despite growing expectations of a cut in OPEC-led supplies.
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) cut its forecast for world oil demand growth in 2019 in a monthly report released on Tuesday (June 11th).
Brent crude fell 1.7%, or $ 1.06, to $ 61.23 a barrel. Texas crude fell 1.8%, or 96 cents, to $ 52.31 a barrel.http://economy-news.net/content.php?id=16901
