The General Administration of Customs announced on Wednesday a list of import-prohibited materials and materials on which the protection of the national product was imposed.
"The decisions of prevention and protection came in accordance with decisions issued by the Council of Ministers and in application of the provisions of the amended Customs Law No. 23 of 1984," the authority said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
She added that "through its customs posts at all border crossings of the country, it has taken care to implement these decisions and has clearly contributed to the fight against smuggling and the protection of the local product. It announces on a daily basis its activities in this regard."
